The Sputum for Eosinophils test measures the number of eosinophils (a type of white blood cell) present in sputum (mucus coughed up from the lungs). t helps diagnose and monitor conditions such as eosinophilic Asthma, allergic Respiratory Disorders, Parasitic Lung Infections, Chronic Eosinophilic Pneumonia.
